Kathy Thames, a registered dietitian with a master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition,  is a progressive dietetics and wellness program leader with proven effectiveness and nationally recognized expertise in nutrition and weight management therapy with a passion to help clients succeed.  Her career reflects an innovative approach to dietetics and a progressive message for the public.

When counseling, Kathy hears clients’ confusion about what to believe and how to go about making changes in diet & lifestyle, specifically, how to change what is on their plate.  She translates her knowledge into practical lifestyle, food choice, and behavioral changes while helping to decipher the popular “vogue” media message of the day.  Kathy’s message is simple, practical and doable.

Cooking and creating a nourishing meal is more than a hobby for Kathy, it is how she demonstrates and allow others to experience the message of good food for good health.  Kathy likes to invent and experiment with ways to use and enjoy local produce on our daily plates and will share these adventures on this blog.
